The Soapy Group has won the contract to become the sole marketing partner of Vangarde Shopping Park in York.

The agency will begin work immediately on a comprehensive strategy to tie together digital marketing, a calendar of on-site events, advertising and PR. The Soapy Group will also be working closely with the retailers at Vangarde including John Lewis, Next and Marks and Spencer.

Deborah O’Donnell, Centre Manager for Vangarde says: “I am really pleased that we are able to work with a local agency. This new partnership is a positive step towards a strategy to raise awareness and boost footfall to our tenants.”

Vangarde Shopping Park will soon be celebrating its fifth anniversary, which will be marked by special family-friendly events around Easter weekend.

Simon Hudson, Managing Director of The Soapy Group says: “It is an exciting prospect for us as a local business to be able to work with one of York’s popular shopping destinations. It is testament to the team we have in place and the high quality of work we are able to produce.”

“Since we were established nearly four years ago, we have maintained a desire to employ talented individuals from the local area. This ethos allows us to attract high-profile brands in the Yorkshire region that wish to work with dedicated local agencies.”

The Soapy Group was established in 2015, born from a passion to help SMEs grow through clear, creative marketing. Now a team of six, the agency works with the likes of Cancer Research UK and Linear Financial Solutions nationally and Wall of Sound, Metcalfe Models & Toys and Bluewater Bathrooms and Kitchens.
